Coffee-Note (coffee-note.fr) is a free web app for keeping a specialty-coffee tasting journal. It lets users log, archive and analyse their tasting experiences.

The service is published by Coffee-Note, independently and non-commercially.

Access to Coffee-Note is free and open to any adult natural person with Internet access.

The publisher reserves the right to suspend or interrupt access to the service, notably for maintenance, without notice or compensation.

Registration can be done via:

• A sign-in link sent by email (magic link)
• A Google account (OAuth 2.0)
• A temporary anonymous session

The user is responsible for keeping their access confidential and for all actions taken from their account.

The tastings, notes, photos and comments entered by the user belong to them exclusively. Coffee-Note claims no ownership over this content.

The user warrants that the content they publish does not infringe any third-party rights and does not contain unlawful, defamatory or public-order-breaching content.

The publisher cannot be held liable for data loss in the event of technical failure. Keeping a personal backup of your important data is recommended.

It is prohibited to use Coffee-Note to:

• Carry out any illegal activity or activity contrary to public order
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Intentionally overload the servers (attacks, bots, mass scraping)
• Circumvent the application's security mechanisms
• Impersonate another user

Any breach may lead to immediate suspension of the account without notice.

The user may request deletion of their account and all their data at any time by contacting: contact@coffee-note.fr

Deletion takes effect within 30 days of the request. All data associated with the account will be permanently erased.

Coffee-Note is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The publisher does not guarantee the continuity, accuracy or completeness of the service.

The publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service.

The Coffee-Note name, logo, design and source code of the application are the property of Coffee-Note. Any reproduction or exploitation without express authorisation is prohibited.

The publisher reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. Users will be informed by email or via the application. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

These Terms are governed by Spanish law and the applicable European Union regulations, notably the GDPR (EU) 2016/679 and the LOPDGDD 3/2018. Any dispute relating to their interpretation or performance falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent Spanish courts, without prejudice to the right of consumers residing in another EU Member State to bring proceedings before the courts of their country of residence.
